SHELL'S PHOTO ALBUM
Dad (Bacamamdits Ace High) & Mum (Emau's Kyrie) Shell's parents are highly titled mau's Shell is the first Mau in Australia to come from a DM parent, her breath taking mum Kyrie is both elegant and extremely affectionate. Her dad is a superstar being a regional winner he's got the look all mau breeders strive for how could Shell be any less than spectacular with these two amazing Mau's as her parents, note the happy feat on both of these beauties. hh Shell At Around 3 Months What a brilliant little kitten so full of herself with not a care in the world though she went through a hard time with her injury she sure did not show it, Shell would have to be one of the most confident little silver sprits we have met, from the moment i first saw this little cheetah ghost I feel in love with her the combination of lovely fine boning, beautiful expression and ear set just set her apart in my eyes she was and still is one of those exceptionally special cats of which I have only meet one in my life of another breed.
Growing Up In The USA As Shell matures the date of her arrival draws nearer and nearer, we are beyond excited to be welcoming this wonderful little show stopper into our family. As you can tell from her pic her at the tender age of eight months Shell has little happy feet treading away at her bed. We cant thank Melanie enough for taking such good care of our first queen... Shell went to a show on the weekend and came back with three winners ribbons Melanie did not want to enter her into so many shows as she had not ben to a show before and Mel was worried our little baby might be frightened but not this girl! She was fantastic and wowed the judges with her exquisite boning and type the next and last show Shell went to at just over 12 months of age she took all rings and beat a great number of grands completing the total amount of winners ribbons needed for her CFA Championship title. We are so proud of her!!
A Long Way To The Land Down Under All the way from the USA, Shells flight touched down early in the morning on April the 15th 2007 were she was taken to AQIS's Spotswood station, probably a little jet lagged Shell sleep through half of the day and a fair bit of the visit time we had with her, as you can see from the picks our little stunner was not the least bit concerned by the quarantine stations environment and settled right in as soon as we brought her furniture in you know just the essentials. a scratching post, tunnel, three different beds, rug for the tiled floor and of course five different assorted toys... Just the essentials:)
The Greatest Gift After a few weeks at home Shell was confirmed pregnant by the use of an ultrasound a real bonus for us as we prayed for a little smoke female she got bigger and bigger and then on the 28th of June produced two beautiful silver BOYS... though we wanted a girl it completely became unimportant when we took home Shell and her new family from the vet, our first litter and shells two we shared some thing very special and it brought us together more than I thought possible. The bond between a mau and his/her owner is more than a cats means of food and chin scratches, Shell showed me how much more there is to being a breeder so much that I never even knew a cat could say with out saying any thing.. Shell will always be the lady of the house and the emperoris of Medjaicatz cattery as she is the beginning and I owe her everything that Medjaicatz cattery ever achieves. A very special cat is hard to find to see more stunning maus please visit our friends at Emau cattery. (Perhaps the best mau breeder in the world) |
