Mithril is the cat that everyone wants to take home with them due to his striking spots, gorgeous face and sweet trusting nature we were lucky enough to get our wish, we will always be grateful to Melissa Bateson of New Kingdom Cattery in UK for letting us have this amazing and wonderful boy. Mithril is the last male kitten produced by UK's foundation stud cat CFA GC Sharbees Mihos before he was neutered a cat unmated in quality as stud producing many great names that went on to become DM lines. Mithril combines the best features of both of his parents, having his mother's (CFA GC J's Iris Qetesh) clean silver, perfect pattern and worried expression and Mihos's crystal clear contrast, lovely coat texture and elegant body type. At GCCF shows Mithril was the first male Mau to be awarded three ICs (the equivalent of becoming a Champion in a breed that has Championship status), and was the highest scoring male Mau in the 2004-2005 show season. At CFA shows in the international European division Mithril earned his Grand Champion title beating his house mate CFA GC Emaus Tetris (imp USA) in all six rings of his final show as a Champion! Mithril was the first CFA Grand Champion produced from New Kingdom cattery and so marked a very special time in the history of his breed in UK. In the 2004-2005 show season Mithril was 3rd best Egyptian Mau in CFA's International Division. Then amazingly in the 2005-2006 season Mithril wowed all and made CFA International Divisions Best Egyptian Mau. Mithril has sired beautiful contrasty kittens in both silver and smoke, we do not know whether he carries bronze yet. After setting such an example in the UK Mithril has flown south to Australia to set some new records and start a new breed up as foundation stud cat at the MedjaiCatz Cattery.

The First Egyptian Mau to win 3 IC's in GCCF UK. 7th Place In 2007 GCCFV CAT OF THE YEAR!! 5th Place in 2007 CAV CAT OF THE YEAR!! ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Stud Enquiries Mithril is at limited stud to titled queens only ie mau's that have competed and obtained a title weather it is CH or GC, he is a very high quality boy who's kittens have never failed to archive wonder and ore on the show bench in the UK. We are very grateful to Melissa Bateson for trusting us with her boy and so we want to make sure he is used only with the best example of his breed in Australia. He is the only UK import so far and is already making a splash in the cat fancy here is Victoria. Only FeLV, FIV and URI negative tested queens will be accepted. Queens that have been VACINATED FOR FIP &/or FIV will NOT be excepted either sorry NO exceptions. All queens must have current vaccination at least 14 days prior to the service. All queens must also be registered with their appropriate governing bodies on the "Active Register" if applicable to their organisation's bilaws. All documents must be signed by a qualified veterinarian. All queen owners must also have proof of a registered cattery prefix with an Australian cat fancy. It is also a condition of the mating that all first generation kittens be sold as spay/neuters and either placed as pets or show quality kittens. No entire's may be sold. If a kitten is kept for the purpose of breeding by you the registered breeder and owner of the queen, the kitten must be shown in your registry to further promote the breed in Australia, I require all queen owners to sign a declaration in confirmation of the above conditions. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Notable Offspring.
