Osiris comes to us from Apophis Egyptian Cattery in New Zealand, we are very thankful to Lana Pennington for letting us have this beautiful boy, Osiris is our first Egyptian Mau and we will be showing him at all CAV shows and some FCCV and GCCFV shows to see were we will be next visit the show page, results from our cats are also posted there. Osiris is a very special little purrsonality that has purred his way into the hearts of many, we have only had him for a short time but in that small time we have found he is the most confident, loving and loyal cat we have ever known, he gives cuddles and head butts to anyone who will give him a pat, he also gives unwanted grooming in the early hours of the morning when breakfast has not yet been served. Osiris has achieved so much in such a small amount of time, being the first Egyptian Mau to enter the ACF National Show he also was the breed representative at a judges guild meeting for the ACF (Australian Cat Federation). As well as all of that he was the Egyptian Mau who made it possible for all maus Australia wide to compete in all the ACF affiliate clubs giving the Egyptian Mau full championship status across Australia. At Osiris's second show as an adult in Group 3 Neuters he was awarded two ACF National Awards these awards are very special they can only be given to one cat in each group per ring, Osiris also took best Group 3 Neuter the first Best Osiris has won. We have high hopes for Osiris and believe that this is just the beginning of his career as Ambassador for the Egyptian Mau in Victoria as well as Australia. A more recent update, Osiris has now collected nine ACF Awards we are very proud of him these Awards are not given to just any cat as mentioned before once a cat has collected 10 of these certificates he/she is awarded the ACF A.O.E (Australian Cat Federation Award Of Excellence) this is a rare honour and to this date no Egyptian Mau has been awarded such a title and only a handful of other breeds have. To have six of these certificates he is more than half way to making history for his breed! Achievements: 2006- CAV 3rd Best Group 3 Neuter Of The Year 2007- Became The First Egpytian Mau Premiership Cat To Be Awarded The Title Of Gold PN. 2007- Became The First Mau To Be Awarded The Title Of Cordinating Cat Councile of Australia PN. (CCCA PN) 2007- Became The First Mau To Be Awarded The ACF Award Of Excelence (ACF AOE) 2007- GCCFV Reserve Neuter Of The Year 2007- CAV Group 3 Neuter Of The Year!!! (Shorthaired Neuters) 2007- CAV 8th Highest Scroing Overall Cat Of The Year. (All Breeds)
